Iam trying to take an exam to enter into college, I have taken the test severel times, this problem has come up each time! I do not understand how to work this problem, to find the answer.
These are the answers given in the multiple choice answers.

First of all establish that the answer is going to be smaller.
Then compare 6400 with 1600 and decide that 1600 is one quarter of 6400. Therefore the equivalent ml will be one quarter of the 360 which will be 90.

Basically its is comparing fractions. If you think of it as 360/6400 then is is asking what fraction is comparable if 1600 is the denominator. Divide 6400 by 1600 and you get 4. Then divide 360 by 4 and you get the answer of 90. I hope this makes sense and helps you out.

ok this is pretty wierd but it works. Anyway the answer is 90. Why?
6400/1600 = (by doing cancellation) 4/1 = 4
360/4 = 90ml
