Bluetooth cable...sod that.
Get bluetooth dongle instead and use to transfer music from pc to phone. You don't even have to install the bluetooth software that it comes with as windows xp/xp professional recognises the bluetooth and installs it automatically. What you then go is switch bluetooth on phone, click on file to transfer then go to file, send to and then bluetooth device. It will then ask you where the bluetooth device is then click on device and then click on next. File then should transfer.

She's better off with a bluetooth dongle (about £8 from Argos).
It plugs into the USB port, comes with an installation disk and is the simplest 'grab and drop' thing to use ever, and work with ANY bluetooth phone.

Hi. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question. I have been trying for weeks to do the same. I can get my dongle to locate my phone and connect but it will transfer NOTHING!!!!!

My solution was this:

I used the USB cable and installation disc supplied with my phone - followed the instructions and BINGO worked first time.
That was EASY PEASY!!!

Sorry not much help. But hope helps!!!

they all work differenly on mine you search for the pc with your phone then you pair with it then your phone has an icon with a pc on it in my places highlight it and click browse it will find the bluetooth exchange folder on pc highlight what you want then get and it will be sent to the phone
if you got the one with the big orange circle click that it will find your phone pair with it and browse your phone with your pc drag and drop into the white area and it will be sent to your phone
