Because if not it will crack because of the diffrence in tempuratures.

Hot is a relevant heat. If it is red hot it is dangerous. If the metal is liquid it will blow steam all over u. If it is hot it is already dry.

I never heard this one. If is is hot, then won't it be dry anyway because all of the moisture on it will evaporate?
