If I was the security guard, I'd turn a blind eye, unless it was something dead expensive

Its not alright to shop lift, Ive been broke at times with three young children to feed but I would not steal what I could work for and earn it honestly. The law is there to make sure we live by the same codes of conduct, to stop anarchy. But I am sure some people are a little weaker and more prone to letting their standards drop.

it says in the bible that a man that steals to feed his family may do so but if he gets caught then he has to pay back 7 fold of what ever he took its hard to judge because he may have stole something he wouldn't need to sell and buy something he does need like food

If it was food then I'd turn a blind eye. If it was something he'd sell to buy drugs or alcohol I'd say no.
