Wouldn't allow it to happen. It's your first anniversary, you deserve a honeymoon before he has a week out with the boys. If I were you, i'd have taken a piece of lingere and stuck it in his bag with a note that said, "Maybe you can get one of your boys to wear this on what should be our honeymoon." Then plan that trip everyone else mentioned.

I would really be pissed. My husband and I never had an official honeymoon but in the past 6 yrs he has not dared taken any "get away with the boys" trips. He can do one of those when he takes me on a nice week long trip, somewhere... anywhere.

I would be uopset, and throw a fit .... me and my husband have been married for 15 months and together for 6 yrs with a 5 yr old daughter and we didn't have a honey moon either. we had a quick private ceremony at the hall of records and just never went on a honey moon, so I'll be damed if he goes off with friends ALONE untill he takes me some where first.... but thats just me...

you can take a anytime you want. however, if you wanted him to go on your honeymoon now, instead of going out with the guys, you should tell him. and especially for seven days. where would a group of men being going for 7 days?

MY husband and I went back to work the same day we got married. It's not a big deal. You were also pregnant during your wedding and the honey moon is for consumating the marriege, which had obviously already been done.

Sounds as if he has some growing up to do. Hopefully, he will grow into the role of husband and father. How old is he?

i would be really upset, and while he's on his trip I'd be planning my own..as soon as he gets home I would tell him that it's his turn to watch the baby and I'm gonna take a trip..
