I spotted at 9 weeks and totally freaked out, since I have miscarried before.
I did not realize what a common occurence this was. My doctor said roughly 30% of all women spot throughout their entire pregnancy.
So don't panic.
Good Luck

Get in touch with your doctor.
Unless you've had sex and then seen the blood (it can happen), you need to speak with your doc or midwife.
I was spotting off and on for weeks, going in to talk to the doctor until I had a seriously scary moment.
I am now on bed rest for a month (I am 28 weeks pregnant).
That's not too bad compared to some folks, but you never know. The docs think I may have had a placental abruption- something that could become very, very serious.
In any case, bleeding during pregnancy is not normal.
Yes, many women experience it, but it is NOT considered normal.
How many weeks are you?

Some pregnant women bleed the hole way through there pregnancy try not to worry if you start to bleed IF very heavy go and see you're midwife our ring the hospital for a check up and a scan. Go and make an appointment for you're doctor tomorrow for checkup If its very light as you say you will have to take it very easy OK i have four boys i bleed with my first and he is 13 now good luck i hope this helps a bit.

I have been to the doctor already for that twice, and both times they asked "how many sanitary pads did you fill?" i thought that was insane, women actually bleed that much and are still pregnant! i only spotted a little bit. So, i suppose if you haven't come close to filling a pad, it shouldn't make you worry too much. Bleeding is almost normal during your first trimester, sometimes into the second. So, as long as it is dark (brown) it should be fine. But call your doctor to let them know so they can be aware of it! Good luck and congrats! :)

I am 10 weeks pregnant also, and i know if i had faint blood like that i would get to the doctor. It may be nothing, do you have any pain with it? I hope all is ok for you, but please ring your GP. Or ring NHS direct tonight and ask. good luck x

I think, especially after a scare last week, you should go straight to your doctor to make sure there is not a more serious problem. Probably nothing but it doesn't hurt to check it out.

Any bleed no matter how light should be checked out at any stage of your pregnancy...don't take any risks with your un-born child. The medical staff won't think you're over re-acting, it's their job to check these things out.. Good luck, I hope it's nothing....my bleeds turned out to be nothing serious.

Call your dr. Some women spot thorughout their pregnancies. It also depends on how early you are into your pregnancy. Also, you can spot after having sex. The pressure on the cervix causes it to bleed a bit.

Well what color is the blood, red or brown? Is it heavy or just the marks? If it is red you should see a dr or if it is heavy, also look for cramping

I agree with the above answers, see GP or midwife, especially if there is any pain, could be nothing but best get checked/scanned.
