I've upgraded to the 7.5 edition of AVG but I still get that stupid pop up telling to upgrade by Feb. 18.Anyone knows how to get rid of it.Thanks.

Sounds to me like you've downloaded the trial version!
Go to http://www.mbusbyuk.info/links.html and you will find a link to AVG 7.5 Free Edition. When you download it, don't run it but save it to your desktop.
When it's finished downloading, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall your trial version by clicking on Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
When you've uninstalled it, close Control Panel and double-click on the free version you just downwloaded...and that's it! It will install your new free version.

Check add/remove programs to see if there is a different version for AVG Free. If you remove the one specific to the Free version it should take care of the problem.
