Surprisingly oil base is easier that water base (which is impossible). First try a strong solvent like acetone, nail polish remover (sometimes the same) if not, try paint remover and there are many different types depending on how badly you want this paint out.
Turpentine, kerosene and paint thinner work great the first few hours. But not once it has dried.

this occurs to me each and all the time. Like others have stated, you could throw some talcum powder on it to absorb as a lot oil, yet i exploit a gel paste made from first mild (the conventional previous blue stuff) dishwash detergent and hydrogen peroxide. i for my area shop a spray-bottle accessible of those issues. equivalent components will paintings. I even use this technique and pass away it to take a seat interior the laundry bathroom down. If the oil stain is severe, i might wash it a pair circumstances and in basic terms air dry it to ensure the stain is long gone. as quickly as you utilize the warmth putting on that sucker, it is going to set the stain.
