yes, that is why breast milk or formula is given to newborns.

YES, and anyone can develope an intolerance anytime in their lives. symtoms vary from just cramps, to bloating, ulcers, nausea, diarreah, vomiting etc..... some people only get an upset stomach .

I once babysat a baby boy that was lactose intolerant.... talk about projectile vomiting!
that was a mess
but he continued to gain weight like crazy... was a roly poly little baby boy, he was....
