Every time someone asks a question pertaining to George Bush and his War for Oil, someone inevitably brings up Bill Clinton. Clearly there are way more supporters of Slick Willy's tactics than there are for Georgie Boy's plan. Can we not stick to the current problems facing America? Does it really matter what happened between 7 and 15 years ago? We need to focus on what is happening right now.

Am I wrong in thinking that WE (The US) are guilty of selling arms to radicals? Does the US Govt. not use drug profits to fund wars? Are you implying that by aiding Iraq fight against Iran, and helping Israel fight against anyone they choose, that we are NOT helping the terrorists? Have you seen any reports about the sale of overstock war materials being readily available to anyone with the money to afford such items? Clinton might not have been a saint, but at least he wasn't a dumbass, redneck fool who lied to get a war going.

The peoples fear of the Clinton's returning to the white house are valid and some think that WILL be the problem facing us 2 years from now. So all crap aside it is a current problem to some since the Democrats are in full pre-primary campaign.

A free and liberated Muslim Middle East will create an economic boom unlike the world has ever known. It would make peace a commodity and a natural consequence.

The money that will be made as a result makes this theory of war for oil ludicrous. Oil will be a dwarf amongst the economic boom a free Middle East will create.

It is simply another ploy by the current administartion to avoid taking responsibility for ANYTHING. Whenever they do something that turns out to be a bad move, about once a week, they immediately find a way to blame it on someone else, mostly the democrats, especially Clinton. It is why we are stuck in this situation right now with no end in sight, People who refuse to admit their part in a problem can never be part of the solution, and the current administration will not be taking any blame any time soon, so don't expect a solution for another 2 years or so.

4. Read Bill Clinton's 1998 State of the Union Address then you might want to see what he "knew" about Saddam Hussein

7-15 years ago is still relevant to things going on today on at least some subjects as its the same issues.

However even with that. If I didn't see so many libs bringing up things like isnt Bush an alcoholic when he has been sober for even longer than that... something that is actually irrelevant but people bring it up regularly... well then you can see why you get what you are talking about.

It is because the rightous right have no argument. They see the failures of this administration but rather then admit they were wrong they have got to attack what might go down in history as the best president for doing the business of the country. It doesn't help that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hanity uses one of their segments every day to bash one of the Clintons, lately it has been Hillary, because she is a threat to them because she just might be the first woman president of the U.S. and Obama because he may be the first person of color to acheive the same post.

While history is important to remember for the future. One doesn't want to make the same mistakes. But, they bring up Clinton to deny any wrong doing by Bush. After all, he is a saint...bleh.

Actually, yes it does.. Clinton is responsible for quite a bit of what is going on.. Because of the Clinton administrations economic program failure in Russia after the end of the cold war, Russia began to sale arms to Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, and Syria giving them $4.8 billion annually (in the 1990's).Also in the 1990's Iran had an alotment of $10 Billion set aside to purchase WMD's and technology , for ballistic missiles, nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, and biological weapons.
Imagine how much they have spent since then. The purpose of the new Russian consensus on foreign policy and national security is to increase the strength of global forces arrayed against the United States.Clintons refusal to address terrorist attacks made against the US ,such as 1993 World Trade Centre bombing,1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five US military personnel,1996 al-Khobar towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 US military personnel, 1998 bombing of US embassies in Africa, which killed 257 and injured 5,000,2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured three US sailors, showed our unwillingness to fight back. When Clinton pulled our troops out of Somalia (Black Hawk Down) because it was upsetting to see the pilots dragged through the streets, Al Qaeda insurgents began to refer to our military as "paper tigers" and Russia was there offering any weapons they may need to insure their victory over the US.. We have to focus on Clintons failures to understand what we could be up against in the near future , especially now that we have anti-military leaders in the House and Senate..

Yeah, maybe if somebody gave Bush a B.J. then we could start talking about impeachment. Apparently, lying about WMD's to sell a war to the American people isn't good enough.
