i like it beacuse its small but some one in bestbuy told me it was slow but by looking at its spec it does not look slow at all some one that has one please help

They were right, it is slow. It has a Sempron processor, Integrated graphics and only 512MB of memory. The new one comes with Vista Home Basic (which is useless) but it does pack in a 200GB hard drive and DVD burner. That's not enough to save it from the relatively mundane processor and paltry amount of memory. Though if you are in the market for a small form factor PC you won't have much choice. The graphics short coming could be overcome by adding a dedicated card (but due to the small form factor you may have issues finding one that will fit in the case).

If you are looking to spend around $500 there are far better options like this, http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-PC-A1709N/sem/rpsm/oid/171869/catOid/-12962/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do which is leaps is bounds beyond anything the one you were looking at (it comes with Vista Home Premium). To take advantage of its full abilities you will want to add a graphics card (look at the Radeon X1650XT for about $130 but you can add that later when you have the money for it). Though it does come with a graphics card that has 128MB of dedicated memory, it doesn't explicitly say what it is but my guess is that it is a Geforce 7300LE with Turbocache.
