Well, PeachPie, that is a polite way, to wish the people in here : 'A nice day' .. :)
And I am not judging people..
You really should try this....
After all, anyone is free to do whatever they want... I am not in here 24/24 ... :)
Thanks, for your concern;p

This is a 'tall-order' question, Kimberly. In my immediate surrounds ( I live with one of my daughters and granddaughter) I do like what I see in their eyes.
Beyond some windows, tho, I see pain, hunger, anguish, and fear. These people just need a friendly touch, hug, encouragement to pick themselves up and start once again.
I went to the grocery store one day and outside the doors was the recognizable Salvation Army tripod and pail. Manning this operation was an older woman in a wheelchair. Mind you , this is Christmas in Pennsylvania and it was snowing a blizzard. I stopped to speak with her and do you know what I saw? LOVE!
I will never forget those windows on that woman. I shook her hand and asked if she would like me to take a turn or buy her some coffee or hot chocolate....with smiling eyes she told me how kind my offer was but that she was fine.
Maybe 'we' don't look correctly when we look into people's eyes...maybe we decide for ourselves way too quickly what their eyes are telling. If one takes the time to not only listen but to hear...those eyes will tell tales unimaginable. Ok....I'm done.
I was rambling...

PS...When I finish this answer and send it onward...I will reach LEVEL 4!!!! YEA!!!! I feel like I have won the Pulitzer Prize for writing. Take care, Kimberly, and keep these great questions coming. They really make me think!!

When eyelids rise there begins the expression of eyes.
Those windows that can speak without a word.
A mere flicker can cause a heart to dance
or a pulse, quicken.
They flash fire
or merrily dance
or turn to ice.

They speak volumes,
although,
not a sound is heard.
Their meaning is seldom misrepresented
or their import misunderstood.

The deceiver will try to master their expression,
only to be betrayed.
The expression of eyes,
even when veiled,
will make themselves understood .

They affect our actions and those of others.
We accept all colors with ease,
except those that glow red,
like the beast.
But we do have a definite problem with the shape,
although, the expressions of eyes remain the same.
However, when language will not function,
most often, it is the expression of eyes
that begins the conversation.

The assumption here is that "the soul" is your soul and not mine.

I look into your eyes and it tells me what I am thinking and not much of what you are thinking.

That is pretty much why I tend not to look in people's eyes.

Stare in a canine's eyes and it will inevitably growl at you because the dog can see in your eyes that it is insecure and eventually that dog will bite you.

I don't like being bitten, and I can't imagine you do either.

Have you looked? What have you seen? Did you like or dislike what you saw? Real observation can be a real tool. It is sometimes hard to see truly. Most people are not open to observation. A privacy thing.

looking out these windows we have an opportunity on what others are really like - you can say one thing but body language tells our eyes the truth. Looking into a mirror your eyes at best tell you what your retina looks like and perhaps the health of your eye-sight

I think that eyes are windows to soul, you just need to learn, not imagine, how to look through them...
Have a nice day too:)
