I have been looking for a job in Sugar Land, Texas over the internet with no success. It seems like the only person that can get a job there are technicians, engineers, sales reps and professionals, and medical personnel. I was an Infantry Squad leader about a month ago. Now I'm out of the Army and looking for something exciting but less dangerous.

I would try looking at some sales positions. Usually, military guys are energetic and enthusiastic, which are perfect qualities for salesmen.

When you said "Squad Leader", to me, it sounds like you should be looking for team leader or supervisor postions.

Most jobs are just not that exciting. You might want to try to get a job through a temp agency to get your foot in the door and prove yourself. It's a better way to transition from one industry to the next if you are unsure about what you want to do. Many are temp-to-perm.
