It is impossible for an honest man to rise to power in American politics today. It is too viscous and the American people too ignorant to decypher. Including myself. I mainly vote by the politicians agenda if I'm confident that his or her agenda is what they are claiming.
Simply put were all rolling the dice when we vote. I pray we roll 7's next election.

Well, to say that politicians are dishonest is a stereotype. While that is not to say that the stereotype isn't accurate, all politicians are not dishonest; and like all people the dishonest ones have honest moments, and the honest ones have dishonest moments.

Also, take into consideration that just because a politician did nothing that he/she promised, does not mean that the politician didn't try or want to try to accomplish these goals. This is just an opinion but there is too much bull stuff within the governing bodies.

Very few. Some are honest to tell us what they believe to be true. Give them power, and they start to listen too much to what they think people want to hear.
