They hid in caves and whatnot. The dinosaurs were so large they needed enormous amounts of food. Food in that quantity died off so the dinosaurs starved. But smaller animals were able to forage and survive by eating plants and smaller animals.

yeah, thats why i dont really believe that, but i mean, the whole thing is that the meteor kicked up lots of dust causing the climate to become colder so dinosaurs couldnt survive because they are cold blooded.

but then what about other reptiles??? i understand how mammals survived, but what about the rest of the reptiles?

The thought is underground (small mammals) or in the sea. Plants that were not scorched at the crash site could have had seeds survive. The thought was that about 10% of the life survived.

Because not every species was killed off. Some lived underground, some lived in oceans, some didn't need large amounts of large food to stay alive.

Yea, dinosaurs were killed by increasing of earth' gravity.

Adapted quicker, were warm blooded, lived in the ocean, lived in areas that were not as seriously affected. That type of thing.

Not %100 on this but us (mammals) survived because we were small and could go underground.

My ancestors lived in caves, so I assume that being in the cave saved them.
