Leaver her alone. Sounds like she doesn't care about the answer, just that she feels that she's right. Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. No, you really can't tell how much a baby drinks from the breast because you can't see it filling them up like a gas gauge or something. The rule of thumb for nursing is to feed the baby as often and as long and he needs. If he does not gain weight or his fontanel is sunken, he's not getting enough. However, if the baby is gaining fine and is overall healthy, he's eating enough. All babies eat different amounts at different times in their lives. I'd say leave her alone and forget about it. She'll either come around or she's not worth it anyway. Good luck!

Sounds like she just wants to be right. But you are half correct, my niece will drain the breast each feed weather it be fast or slow but if you pump that same volume into a bottle you will be lucky if she drinks half. Some babies just don't like the bottle and there for don't feed as well. But it does sound like you have a bit of competitive mum syndrome. Maybe you should be the bigger person and say that it's just your opinion. But in your defence what ever happened to listening to what people suggest and just saying oh right. You don't have to take it all to heart.

Be the bigger person. Is how much formula, breast milk, or soda pop a baby gets worth ruining a friendship over? I don't think so. Apologize for getting into the argument and agree to disagree. If she still refuses to speak with you she's probably not worth your time!

As long as the baby is having enough wet and poopy diapers they're getting enough from the breast...as a mom who nursed her 2yo for 13mths...I say about 6-12 wet diapers in a 24 hr time frame...women had breasts before bottles. How old is her baby? Sorry for ur argument.

She is probably just really stressed out from the baby and trying to breast feed. Cut her some slack and let it blow over. Im sure you will be able to smooth things out in a couple weeks

I think if she's that much of a b*tch she's not worth the effort. Geez. She's an idiot, isn't she? Intelligent people are willing to accept the fact that they're wrong and learn something new. She's obviously going to live in a world of naivetee and there's nothing you can do about it. Find a smarter friend.

Looses neither the argument nor the pal! in one among a marriage a poet became blessing the newly wedded couple with a poem. 2 strains of the long poem which I undergo in ideas even after 40 years, ?????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????? ??????? ????????! venRidum eNNam vENdAm vittuththAn kodukka vENdum! Translation: Don’t ever think of to win you're able to desire to loose in basic terms! In arguments the two the events never settle for the info as they have their biased view. Even in courts, after the arguments, in basic terms the choose grant the call and looser never accepts that he lost and that feeling in basic terms activates him to report allure against that judgment in bigger dialogue board. incredibly in friendship or in kin dating, the single loses in argument neither looses the argument nor the friendship or dating! Argument is desperate aside and the friendship bondage retained by employing loosing the argument! In another chuffed social accumulating it is going to proceed!

It's not about what you said.
She is feeling insecure as
a mom and is taking it out
on you. You don't need to
tell her she's right, she knows
she isn't. Just reassure her
that she is doing a good job.
Tell her you never meant to
make it sound like she doesn't
know what she's doing. People
can get really silly at times.
Friends don't have to be perfect.

If this is all it takes for your friend to decide never to talk to you....she is no friend worth having. She is a small minded person. Get away from her and stay away from her.
