because I heard that glaswegians are the most friendly people ever and I want to study there next year but I'm from Lebanon

I believe that would be prejudiced and/or bigoted toward foreigners, not racist. Racism implies a difference in race, and specifically the feeling that one race is inherently better than another.

It's not a true or faulse legit question here. Some are and some are not. Just like everyone in the world. But even if they are, it's their own business to feel a certain way and it doesn't matter if we agree or disagree with them. Live and let live!
