I watched Flicka last night and really enjoyed the cinematography.Wyoming is beautiful....who knew?! The daughter/dad storyline was very moving and the music was really good,too...I didint pay attention to the credits- but is Bethany Dillon on the soundtrack?thought I recognized her voice...anyhoo,great family film, clean language, wholesome family environment with the mountain lion being the only "scary" action this mom of 3 under the age of 13 is very pleased with this adaptation of Flicka.Cowboy hats off to Tim McGraw!

I love talking about movies! I just bought The Departed on edited DVD. I have already watched it a million times! It is a wonderful movie EDITED but I sure as heck would NOT watch it not edited with all of the language it had. Great directing... Martin Scorsese is awesome! I love the plot... great ending. Awesome acting. Leonardo Dicaprio is one of my favorite actors but I think that this is his best acting job (even though I like Titanic more than The Departed). I love the movie!

The most recent movie I watched was Marie Antoinette. It was a home rental. I was very disappointed in it. I figured I would be but I gave it a chance none the less. I was actually expecting it to be maybe a historical film set to modern music, which I wasn't really excited about. But it wasn't that anyway. The historical facts were all wrong. Sofia Coppola(the director/writer) said in an interview that the real story wasn't interesting enough. I only watched the film wanting the real story. I understand what she was wanting to do. She wanted the movie to be fun. And to show the queen just as she was: a teenager that didn't have a clue. There are better ways of doing this then showing an 18th century french queen wearing a pair of Converse chuck taylor sneakers. Since she wanted to do that then Instead of spending so much money on the wardrobe making all those fancy historical dresses she might as well of just put kirsten dunst (marie) in mordern day clothes and given it a name similar to the princess diaries becauses thats what this is. She could've called it Valley Girl in Versailles

The last movie I rented was The Black Dahlia

Don't waste your money on it. If someone offers to lend it to you, run away. I now have about 2.5 hours missing from my life that I will never get back. They call it "the black dahlia" yet the murder of the Black Dahlia was a sub-plot in this film. In total I think they spend about 25 minutes talking about the death of Elizabeth Short. It was very disappointing.

I watched The Departed last night and it was long but really good. Cast was Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Mark Walberg. Its a twisted story about these guys and law enforcement. I dont want to give much away but you should definatley check it out!!!

I went and saw Pursuit of Happyness...I'm not sure if its still in the movies or not, but I enjoyed the movie. After I saw it, I found out that it was based on a true story, which made the movie even better. I would recommend it!

the last movie i saw in the theatre was the pursuit of happyness, it was VERY good. it's based on a true story, and i think it's will smith's greatest performance yet.

the last dvd i watched was a film called ideocracy (sp?), it's really interesting. the storyline is set in the future, and it shows how society has gotten more stupid as time goes on. i highly recommend it.

Because I Said So. It had some good moments, but for the most part I agree with the critics - 2 thumbs down.
