Actually it is in my adomen directly below my belly button. I have been sensitive in this area for about 2 weeks now. If you press lightly, it gives discomfort. I know I am not consitpated nor am I pregnant. ( I have not ben sexually active since October 2006 and I have not missed my period. I have been on birth control for 3 years and we used a condom. I have taken HPTs at home and twice at my DRs office.)
I do have IBS but have never had this sort of issue before. My doctor treated me for UTI because at first the discomfort was all across my abdomen. Now its centralized right below my belly button. It spasms every once in a while.
Any clues to what this might be?

I suggest you take acidophilus to balance the flora in your intestines. Watch what you eat and dont get treated for UTI with symptoms like this.

since you are already receiving treatment for IBS, schedule an appointment with your doctor. bring a list of concerns and questions. since your abdomen contains so many organs that do so many different things, it is impossible to receive any beneficial advice via computer.
