Don't say your a perfectionist, it is the most over-used untrue 'weakness' there is. If I were interviewing you, and you said you're greatest weakness is that you're a perfectionist, I would NOT hire you. Also, don't say you work so much to finish the job that you work late, blah blah - the employer may think that you don't work efficiently.

The one I used (and I got hired the same day) was:

I'm a work-a-holic and I always try for that 110% goal. I've noticed that this sometimes causes conflicts within my previous workcenters because my fellow co-workers assumed that I was bucking for promotion. That I was in some way trying to outshine them all. But in reality, I believe in getting the job done, and doining it right the first time. I don't really know if this is a weak traint or not, but i'm trying to pace myself a little slower to keep animosity of from my coworkers to a minimum.

What I did basically was, pass off a really srtong trait like it was a hinderence that I was trying to correct. All the interviewer got out of that was, I'm really a shy, modest person, with great work ethics.

Cheers!

Think of a weak trait which you could turn into your best asset - like being hard headed.. Because in turn, you do persevere until you know you have completed the job required.

I always just say I am sometimes too nice to people and that makes people think that I wouldn't mind doing all the work. Another good thing to say is that you are a very hard worker and sometimes get carried away with work and forget that you have a life outside of work.
