When this "free" country has GWB as the president?
Anyone who lived in the US for a while knows the last thing that can be said about America is freedom. Property-tax, weapon restrictions, taxes almost like Sweden. But hollywood still has not changed, they still make movies about the "free" country. The terrorist in 911 might have been tired of 711? Tired and liked to liberate us, have that ever occurd to you?

America has its problems, but anyone who says we are not free has no idea what real oppression is.

If this was not a free country then you would not be able to post this question, while I do agree that the constitution has been eroded over the years it is still a very strong document and America remains free.

I'm not as concerned with the message we are sending to other countries, as I am the message this planet is sending to others in the cosmos. We are transmitting our dirty laundry out into space daily. What an embarassament! By the way, what planet did you just arrive from? The one where stating the obvious is appreciated?
