In additon to the diseases already mentioned, they brought the concept of land ownership.

Much saner is the idea that we belong to the land not the other way around. It was here before us, it will be here after we are gone.

Several types of game birds were imported for hunting purposes. The pheasant for example. Also, cheat grass. If you've never heard of this look up noxious weeds in the western United States.

measles, small pox, the plague, TB, snails, blood war, the idea that people can own the land, greed, hate, lying and cheating. farming, waste, ambition ingenuity and the will to make it work
