Musicians such as Bob Dylan, John Lennon etc. if not then who would you rank him with? i had to phrase it this way since apparently people think "compare lyrical ability" is an open forum to discuss his suicide or so called "terrible guitar playing" , to be clear, I am asking about his lyrical artistry, NOT his suicide, drug addiction, or his instrumental accomplishments

For crying out loud, if you won't compare then don't answer!!!!!!! it's so annoying when people give opinions that aren't even asked for, if you think he's a bad musician or whatever else, then write your own friggin question!!!!!

he was truly a brilliant guy, his outlook on life was much different than bob dylan's and lennon's for that matter...
i'd rank him between maybe elliott smith, and stone temple pilots.

Lyrical God and psycho freak(enables the song writing) i like him however the craziest lyric that i visit on no account understand is in All Apologies - it is going "Aqua Seafoam shame" For years i presumed he became saying " I foresee some shame" which i think of might definitely be a extra ideal extra healthful. Well it depends on if I am drunk/high or sober..... If I am sober than the songs make no sense. Look at teen spirit, makes no sense at all.... But if I am feeling good then I understand every word and can relate to it.... People have to take Kurt for what he was and like him for that.

Kurt Cobain has made more money then anyone since he has passed. In 2006 he passed Elvis in the money department...he is now the richest dead guy...in music...he is amazing!!
