What is the most comfortable bra you have ever worn? One that you hardly knew you had on. I am so fed up with buying bras that are uncomfortable after wearing it a few times.

Half of the problem stems from the fact that I have an hiatus hernia and when my stomach pushes up this is when my bra becomes uncomfortable. Surely I cannot be the only woman with a hernia, but do they feel the same discomfort as me from wearing a bra.

Hi!

You've just GOT TO buy a Fantasie bra!!

You'd pay £25 for these in John Lewis, Debenhams etc.

However, you can get brand new ones on ebay for between £10 and £15.

I had one professionally fitted a John Lewis last year, and I've never looked back!!

It is amazing what a difference a well fitting bra can make to your overall appearance in clothes, and also your posture.

Hope this helps!!

I went into Lane Bryant once with the advice of a friend. I have a very petite frame, but Large Tatas. They Measured me and found the perfect fit in about 4 different types of bras. All are very comfortable, 2 are very Sexy and Push me up and in in the right places and the others I call my Grandma Bras because they are just comfortable with thick straps.

I also have gotten a great Strapless there, and Boistees (sp?) I Highly reccomend Checking it out and at least trying them on, Its worth it.

Evans do some wonderful bras for those of us with a larger chest - I'm fed up with shops that only go up to an E cup!

Also, I've ordered a few online from SimplyBe and have been pleased.

I think its always worth splashing out and getting some properly fitting bras from the independant small shops - they often have a big range and have top quality bras.

I would also recommend Lane Bryant for strapless bras especially, but I was ultimately impressed by the line of full figured bras from the Avenue. I almost had an O in the store it was so fantastic. Well, not really, but It made me look so good I ended up buying more of their clothes.

I'm a 36 D and i wear bras from marks and spencers, some of their individual ones are very pretty. I tend to by the underwired slightly padded ones as they give good lift and a nice shape and cleavage! I have 3 different ones from there and they're all as comfy as one another!

First let me say I SOOOOOOOO understand. I'm a 34 E (all natural!!) I go to a specialty shop. Go look in your yellow pages under specially bra shops or bra shops. Or Nordstrom's a great place to go too.

Look at the links below. I go out to the shop that is the second link. They are awesome!!

Hi, For just general use Asda's cotton sports bra is really comfortable and only costs around £5.00. Even the minimiser bra from Asda is comfortable.

I always go for comfort with my bra's never looks and the best I find for me are cross your heart bra's but another important point is to make sure they are well fitted so you must go and be measured!

I love Lane Bryant bras they fit really great and are comfotable. Plus they come in cute styles. Just because one has big boobs and wants comfort doesnt mean she has to have a granny bra.

my best friend has 36G and shes only a size 6 at 5'2" so she needs alot of support with thick straps and the only bras she is comfy wearing are the ones from fredricks of hollywood she told me that they lift them up and push them into her body so they arent as heavy and so they dont sag down onto her stomach hope this helps
