I think there maybe a problem if their accommodation is small and restrictive. There has been behavioural problems when animals are confined and they press their heads against walls. I'm sure that most centres do treat them well, but there is a problem with natural instinct and they don't understand why they are having to perform.
I'm from England.

As reported above, marine mammal education isn't marine biology, its unclear that any faculties have a curriculum adapted in the direction of that objective. Animal habit, ethology, and comparitive psychology could be useful classes to take if thats what you prefer to do. you're able to additionally prefer to substantial in psychology and take some animal bio training. Its an prolonged, diffucult highway to grow to be a coach. you will spend years as an apprentice, cleansing and feeding, earlier you get to have interaction with the animals. Volunteer with animals any time you get. in case you won't be able to artwork with a interior of sight marine mammal stranding/rehab group, then a minimum of artwork with canines or cats in case you could. set up which you will artwork and carry a job. prepare swimming and be personable. there is no longer a impressive style of money interior the sphere, however the folk who do it do no longer do it to be wealthy.

I think it's great they can teach marine mammals to perform.
Circus elephants, lions and all the other, are zapped with a cattle prod or popped with a whip and crammed into little cages. Marine mammals are treated very well and are provided ample space, food and veterinary care.

i live in the U.S. and i think as long as the performing marine mammals are taken care of, and happy, and not abused, then i like it. such as Shamu in Seaworld, those whales looked like they were having a lot of fun, so as long as they are happy, i support it.

If they were upset away from captivity or looked after exceptionally well then it isn't a problem...
It's when they're abused that is the problem.
