barbwire on top. if the survive the fall they'll atleast be injured and therefore the odds of a fair fight will be higher. good luck! p.s. i love pets, but i dont put up with vicious dogs!

putting anything on the top of your fence is illegal, ie, if it can cause harm to others, if the dogs are dangerous call the police, there is a danderous dogs act in force. if they rent, then call the council, they may need permission to keep pets. you have a few options but try reasoning with them first

I'd try and talk to the neighbors, and if a dog came over then you'd have to hold owners responsible. They have a responsibility to keep them in their yard. If a viscious dog came in my yard, and threatened me or my kids, it' probably wouldn't live long enough for me to make a complaint to the animal shelter!
