I believe that it is not utilized as much as is should be.
Worthless humans are eating up our money and education for what to sit on deathrow to be parolled because we can't support them. I would like a 5 year period only prior to the execution, not a 10 or 20 as most get.
If you are sentenced to die and their is NO Doubt at all, then is should be done in 30 days from that point and it should be fast and public. Line them up and kill them. Faster the better.
I think a "good caning" would do a few criminals some good. as the first part of their sentance for any violent, drug, sexual or child related crimes.
A statement of "no one should die that way" needs to burn in the mind of any criminal that would consider that same action to receive those that same punishments. Criminals have no fear, so why should I care about them.
You know what= I'm not kidding . I really believe this.

I'm all for the execution of criminals - but doesn't the electric chair cost too much to use?
I'd rather use China's method - Shoot 'em in the head - make the family pay for the bullets.
Quick and mostly painless for the damn liberals who argue leniency down to the basest of ciminals, and FREE to taxpayers which caters to those conservatives (such as myself) who don't believe the criminal lot's "rights" should be allowed to inconvenience us.

Ive always asked myself this Q and seriously i still after all this time have no idea i guess i dont really believe in it and i think its more of an easy way out for a criminal i think someone who kills their children or something should suffer in prison plus its up to God to take lives not us ya know?

too quick. I'm partial to the gas chamber, where the perp heard the pill drop, and would then try to hold his breath as long as he could, all the time knowing that as soon as he gasped for air, he would go into painful convulsions for a little while before he died.
