The gameshow was called Big Break, and was aired on BBC1 from 30/04/91 to 09/10/02 a total of 239 episodes.
John Virgo used to wear a different waistcoat every week, which became somewhat of a trade mark for the show.

It was called Big Break where 3 contestants where teamed up with three different snooker professionals, and built up to prizes at the end
"I'm gonna be snookering you,snookering you tonight ..Big Break"
Incidentally the snooker loopy was also written by Chas N Dave but wasn't the theme tune for big Break
