when communicating with others are you direct and to the point or are more subtle conveying in your wishes and needs?

Well that is situational. If I need something from a co-worker -- very direct so I get exactally what I want

If it is to my children it can be more subtle so they learn to think for themselves. Actually I'm subtle in general in most non work settings.

It depends on the person I'm talking to. I like face-to-face convos because I can read nonverbal cues that tell what kind of communication that THEY prefer.

I'm usually direct in person. On the phone, I'm not so obvious.

Subtle..not so good at it.
