How many of you all prefer nude swimming over swimming with clothes. I love to swim naked me and my fiancee and my 3 year old daughter. When we get our pool trunks will never enter.

I prefer doing a lot of things nude as opposed to with clothes on, including swimming. Clothes are cumbersome and restrictive for a lot of activities. They are useful and helpful for a lot of others. There's nothing at all wrong with practical nudity and so I don't understand why so many people suggest that allowing your 3-year-old to do it is perverted or weird!
Nudity makes sense for swimming, sleeping, tanning, hot days indoors, tree climbing, cleaning the bathtub, cleaning anything that's really muddy, etc.
Nudity is silly for cold days outdoors, bicycling, skateboarding, running or jumping (if you are a man or have large bosoms), going to the grocery store, dance clubs, playing baseball, or football, etc.

I only swim naked, whether at the nude beach near my home or at friends' pools. I really don't see the purpose of wearing any type of bathing suit...when you really examine it, it's a rather silly custom.
We've all seen naked people, so that shouldn't be such a big deal for anyone. Swimming, sunbathing or similar actiivities are totally appropriate to be enjoyed naked.
Simple, non-sexual nudity is something that we should all enjoy whenever possible, as long as the place and situation are appropriate.

For all of the people that answered that it's "wrong" or "perverted" to swim naked with a 3 year old in the water...you have to seriously reorganize your knowledge about what the meaning of perverted is. Swimming isn't sexual. Neither is nudity. Having sex in a pool with a child around WOULD be perverted...but swimming nude in a pool with a child there isn't perverted. When it becomes sexual, then it is wrong. Most people wouldn't take it to a sexual level, but those people who are perverts would. There is a big difference.

I love swimming naked! And, I think it is cool that you swim naked with yer family. But, with our social society (in the US) many would believe that your daughter is getting a little too old to be swimming with you while you are naked, & vise versa. But, if you are all comfortable and there is no inappropriate behavior...then cool! I mean, you could tell your daughter..."Dad's in the pool naked...so you have to stay out till I'm done:-)." You want to talk about stuff...you don't want to be totally and weirdly prudish about stuff like that...I mean we're human...and it is better to address and be open (in an age appropriate and behavior appropriate manner) with your children.
Three year olds are really just starting to explore their gender roles and sexuality...so, be careful.

I never thought I would like swimming in the nude, until I tried it. Now I believe there is no other way to swim. Of course I really don't have a three year old daugter. It would be wierd if his daughter was in her teens, not when she is three.

Always that I can, I prefer to swim naked.
When my in laws are out, I always swim naked in their private pool, and I like going to nude beaches too.
I hate swimming clothes.
Nude is the best.

My wife and I always swim nude in our enclosed pool. No minors are present of course.

We prefer it. Me, My wife, and 3 year old daughter in our own, private, pool.
I'm a bit taken aback at those above who are worried that a 3 year old could see a naked adult. They are certainly not even close to being sexually aware at that age, and what's the big hang-up with the human body? We all have one.

Thats a little odd but I love swimming naked...Kudos on teaching your daughter to be proud of herself and to be confident...just hope that she doesn't do that in school during swimming lessons...lol
