The singer was: Norah Jones

NORAH JONES LYRICS

"The Nearness Of You"

[Originally written by Ned Jones and Hoagy Carmichael for the movie "Romance In The Dark"]
[Recorded by Hoagy Carmichael in 1937]

It's not the pale moon that excites me
That thrills and delights me, oh no
It's just the nearness of you

It isn't your sweet conversation
That brings this sensation, oh no
It's just the nearness of you

When you're in my arms and I feel you so close to me
All my wildest dreams come true

I need no soft lights to enchant me
If you'll only grant me the right
To hold you ever so tight
And to feel in the night the nearness of you

Hope the helps..............

It's Nora Roberts singing "The Nearness of You".

It was actually played during another Sonny and Carly bathtub love scene a couple of years ago.

And yet another piece of trivia - it was played during Sonny and Brenda's first sexual encounter together (although sung by a different artist).
