Actually, that use of the word has a different spelling and meaning! "Anal" as you know, refers to anything having to do with your anus. The other word, as you tried to use it in your example sentence is spelled A-N-I-L-E. An "anile" person is one who seems to have to have everything just so-so, has to be always on the side of right, and seems to have a one-track mind.

An anal person is a person that is very picky about everything they are a part of. They think that everything has to be perfect to their standards. They will sometimes do it to extremes, creating problems with other people.
