Some people say most medical drugs and treatments do not really cure diseases. If they did the FDA will run out of business. Kevin might be doing something similar. What do you think?

I definitely don't trust the FDA!!!!! Look at all the stuff they have said was OK to consume that we are now finding out is killing us. Like Trans Fats and High Fructose Corn Syrup just to name the most recent. You read the warning label on the drugs and sometimes the side effects are worse than the disease.

Kevin Trudeau's book is great I have used many of the cures in it and have had good luck. But we should also remember that sometimes nature just "ain't" enough. I think the best thing is try the least invasive cure first and work your way up. I have learned that most of the time the simplest answer is the best.

anyone who has a basic understanding of pharmacology and pathophysiology understands why medicine is mostly treatments rather than cures. it has nothing to do with money, it has to do with your body ridding itself of drugs and the mechanisms of the diseases being intrinsic and unfixable. trudeau is a moron and tells people what they want to hear. id trust the fda

and to ther person above, when has the FDA ever said trans fat was good for you? they warn people over that stuff all the time, they just havent banned it yet (which may be coming soon).

and i bet you markup on many alternative products is as bad or worse than that on drugs. the drug companies have a lot of expenses, it takes $1.2 billion to bring a drug to market and over 90% of the drugs they develop are never approved by the FDA. herbal companies have no regulation, they just put something in a bottle, claim it does a whole bunch of stuff without any supporting evidence, and then charge $10 a bottle. the colon cleansing kits are especially a scam, they run $30-40 and most of them are pretty much just magnesium citrate which costs about $1 a bottle at a pharmacy

i read one of his books and the only valuable advice i got from it was eat healthier and excercise more, the rest is just nonsense, whining, and bullshit

Is the real question - What has been successful in treating and preventing the illnesses common to mankind (subtext who is profiting)?

If it is than while the FDA is to be applauded in its attempts to keep the public safe for restrictions on quality it is overlooking the prevention by means of keeping the high quantities of things like sugars out of our foods that do much more harm than good. It is the Food issue that they have fallen down on more than the drug aspect. The natural chain of events causes the need for more drugs.

It would help if there were no arrogance in government to assume that what grows naturally should be excluded as cures.

I have read his book and acutally paid money to check out his website...it is worth NOTHING! I know more alternative methods than he does. In fact there is more information in the public library than on his (almost empty) website!

This guy is scamming you! I can't say either way about the FDA, because I don't know if he has told the truth in his book.

I would suggest ignoring the FDA stuff and buy organic/wholefoods at a healthfood stor as often as possible. There are many other far more reliable sources than his on and of the internet.

What does Kevin Trudeau stand to gain that the FDA doesn't?

Money. Any other questions?

Yes, I trust Mr. Trudeau's advice. Conventional medicine only is the means to push drugs and doesn't offer anything near a cure for what ails us.
I had been prescribed several different drugs by my primary care physician, which I took for the longest time.
At a certain point I became disenamoured of living on drugs and without further ado, weaned myself off all of them. To this date, I take none of them and am doing very nicely, thank you.
What I have done instead, is plenty research on the internet to determine dietary changes I would need to deal with any of the previous ailments I had.
The Trudeau books are filled with the means for handling illnesses efficiently and cost effectively. I'm only too happy to see the drug companies take a smaller slice of my budget.
I'm a senior lady who's only too happy to be living drug-free at my age. It took a bit of study and a radical change in diet, but the end certainly has justified the means.
While I don't certainly suggest here that anyone reading this should take themselves off all their prescribed meds, but it's a thought now, isn't it?
I do believe all of us need to become PRO-ACTIVE WITH OUR OWN HEALTH CARE. And if that means taking issue to conventional medicine, so be it.

I bought Trudeau's book and tried a few things in it And I truly believe that what he says about the FDA is true. Its all about $. They don't want to cure anything, the just want to manage them with drugs.they don't tell you about the long term damage these drugs do to your body. as for Trudeau, the things "I tried worked! they exceeded my expectations.

Actually, I don't think Kevin is doing that. He's a infomation source. Most of the cures he talks about come straight from my grandmothers kitchen. I have Acid reflux--really bad, who would of thought a teaspoon of vinegar would help with in minutes!! This is in his book, and I tried it, it burns at first, but then relief....
