check out anything by : ariel pink's haunted graffiti, tapes 'n tapes, interpol, radiohead, sufjan stevens, devendra banheart, mew, the animal collective, or check out pitchforkmedia.com they can tell you the best indie bands out rite now. i mean most people here indie songs on the soundtrack to a zach braff movie and they think everything sounds like the shins, the truth is indie music is so diverse. check out the indie music out rite to find the sound you like. good luck.
