My Website - Umbrelly Books?

Hey guys,

OK... I promise you this is not for publicity or anything like that, however would just like some people's opinion of my new website.... I feel like it is missing something, and would appreciate any ideas you guys might have. – (I’m posting this in the Books sections as it is a site for my books…) I'm just learning basic design right now, so hopefully nothing to complicated. Mostly where does it need more pictures, is the layout ok, do you like the colors, is it easy to navigate – (that kind of stuff)

I think it's a nice site and I do like the colors. The one change I'd made on the home page would be a little splash of color near the bottom-- some red, I think, maybe a flower?--just to liven the page up and make it seem a little more accessible.

It's dramatic without being overwhelming. The page with the illustrator's photo is fabulous-- the colors work together and that dash of red just makes the shot. I liked the photos of the book signing. Perhaps a bit of a blog or a little more of your personality should come through, and possibly a little excerpt from one of the books just to let people know a little more of what they're about.
