Do you think that people need to be offended more often so that they become desensitized to it?
All of this political correctness and excessive sensitivity to other peoples feelings is starting to become a real problem.
It seems like you can't do or say anything anymore without someone being offended by it.

no, i definitely think people need to feel less offended. it's irritating that people can be so uptight. i don't think intentionally offending anyone will desensitize them. i would think that would make them more uptight and more likely to be offended. the idea is that people need to take a different perspective and lighten up when it comes to these things that ultimately don't really matter.

I don't take offense at much, so in my case, it's not necessary to become desensitized to it.
