Who was it from? Does the source of the compliment make it more or less believable?

My daughter posted on her webpage that I am her hero and that she appreciated all the sacrifices I made for her and her siblings while they were growing up.

The principal of my high school wrote me a letter of recommendation for college. On it, he said that he, as well as the entire school staff, "marveled" at the design, ease of navigation, etc. of my website.
That was probably one of the best I've gotten. The source makes makes it more believable.
Another compliment that never fails to delight me is "I love your love for MacGyver." Said to me by a friend and also a co-worker. Once again, the sources make it believable.
As you can tell, I am a huge MacGyver fan!

That I am a wonderful mom and wife. That I keep my family in line and on track. It came from someone that is a very well respected person not just in our community but anywhere she has lived. At her job she is one on one with people hours at a time (Stewardess) so I believe she knows a bit about people and their personalities. She has done This job for the past 16 years. That felt really good.

went to las vegas and tried to play keno but the man in charge ask for my identification. i was surprised. he told me that under 21 yrs old can't play. i was laughing so hard and give him my i.d. and to see the shock in his face when he saw my birth year. i am 40 years old. wow!!! happened three times to me in different places. i feel good, nananana...- as james brown song. it's believeable when you get it from people you met the first time and they're strangers too.

My fiance told me I am beautiful & that I am the most giving person he has ever known. This means a lot to me because he meant it.
