The word hooba and the word stank usually refers to the band, "hoobastank." The name actually means nothing at all. it is just a made up word that the leader of then band made up. lol so don't fret about the definition because there isn't one. here's a direct quote from the band" In an interview with Launch Yahoo!, Doug Robb said the name had no particular meaning: "You're going to ask me what it means. It doesn't mean anything. And it's really cool, it's one of those old high school inside-joke words that didn't really mean anything."'

hoobastank the band got that name from sitting in a dinner and someone farted and then someone yelled 'whos butt stank?!' so they stuck with hoobastank...dunno if that's the answer you're looking for, but...yea
