I am going to be in Vancouver, BC in early March and will have one day to sight-see. What are a couple of "can't-miss" places that I should visit?

Stanley Park and the Aquarium (it's in Stanley Park) are the two I would pick if I only had a day.

The Suspension Bridge is a ways out of town, and would be hard to see anything else if you went there.

Science World is also a good tourist spot, especally if you have kids. It's right by Stanley Park so you may be able to fit it in.

Yikes, only one day?? Well, you'll have to pick and choose depending on your interests, but here are some of my favs:

Stanley Park for the nature, aquarium, totem poles, etc. (the carriage ride is a bit pricey, but a nice way to see the park)

Granville Island for the offbeat flare, shopping, and huge marketplace

There's an observatory up near Gastown... heck, can't think of the name, but it's a GREAT view of the region

The suspension bridge or some of the other nature stuff.

capilano suspension bridge shows you some beautiful sights if you aren't from the west coast, take the gondola up grouse mountain, check out stanley park, the planetarium, commercial drive
Have fun on your day in Vancouver!
