of going braless. Will my breasts sag later in life? Will I develop back problems? Are there any benefits to wearing bras or are they just a product of cultural socialization? I just find bras sooo damn uncomfortable.

The effects are...
*Nipples showing through shirts
*Breast saggage (if it's a word. hehe)
*boys making fun of you?
If you're using the kind that are underwire that clip in the back, I hate em. I'm a 6th grader and I don't have much of a cup but I wear just a plain 34. I wear these ones from Limited Too that are comfortable 100%. No underwire, slip them over your head and it's like a half cami. Love them! Go to your store and see if you can find them like that cuz they're really nice and if you find a bra, look at the bottom of the cup and see if you can feel a wire. That may be your problem. Or just stick to cami's. Good Luck!

You are a 36D? I would sure like to trade places with you. If you don't like wearing bras, I do believe you could sag. Heck, even us smaller sized women can sag with time. My sister, who is more endowed than I am, also hates wearing bras. She does enjoy wearing sports bras, however. They are stretchy and actually quite comfortable once you get used to them. They offer the support one needs without the discomfort of traditional bras. Just a suggestion. If you are going to go without a bra, I would make sure that your nipples don't show under your clothes. Guys may like it, but it will only draw unnecessary negative attention to you. Good luck.

Well yeah your breasts will sag later on... especially if you're athletic.
Save you tried sports bras? Those are SO MUCH more comfortable than the cupped ones. Try those.
There's lots of different kinds, I'm sure there's some that are comfy.. I wear sports bras a lot and you can barely feel them, even though they push you in a bit, but whateva.

The effects of going braless are plenty. Number one, there is no support of them...it's like 10 pounds of flesh hanging off the front of you Sooner or later, your back is going to have many problems. Number two, do you really want them flopping around all day - with your nipples showing and everything. It's very unprofessional. you may get a lot of stares, and dates, but is that what you are looking for.

Go to a professional women's garmets store, and have your chest measured, and the associates can help you find a suitable bra.

I wear my bra 24/7 because I am a 34DD & when I take my bra off for showers my DD's are up there where they should be. Occasionally I go without a bra for certain tops & dresses & mine are up there looking around which my breast dr. says is unusual for DD's. One bad thing about wearing a bra for 40 years is that my breast are very dense & that makes it hard for accurate mammograms.

I'm smaller than you when it comes to bra size and I hate wearing them just as much. If I could walk around braless everyday I would. They do help to support the breast especially if you have bigger ones.

your boobs will sag eventually with or without a bra. going bra less just will cause your boobs sag sooner.

You can go bra less once in a while, it won't hurt. Obviously, not while running, etc.

Get fitted by a lingerie shop. Most women wear the wrong size bra.

Look into un-constructed styles.

If you hate wearing one, don't wear one.

Sagging is largely a function of age, the number of pregnancies you have, and the size of your breasts. D cups are likely to sag as a function of the force of gravity. AA cups rarely sag badly because there's nothing much to sag far.

Well, there aren't any negative effects of going bra less. Because sagging is based mostly on genetics. But at a 34D you need support under your clothes and for you back. But you maybe wearing the wrong bra. You need to get fitted and measure correctly for a comfortable fit. Also try camis or tanks with a built-in support system. I' am a 48D and 21, so I hate wearing bras too.
