I've fogged extra heavily, sprayed daily with a chemical from the feed mill even mixing it stronger than directed and nothing has fazed them. It hasn't even stopped them for a day. Occasionally I see them in the two rooms on either side of the kitchen, but for the most part, that's where they are concentrated. They are very bold and come out on the counter and stove while I'm cooking!!!(Gross and so embarrassing!!) I emptied all cabinets when spraying so I know the areas have been well covered but the problem seems to only worsen. Any suggestions???

exterminator can rectify your problem in short time.

The reason why you can't get rid of them is because the chemical you are using leaves no residual, therefore once it dries its as if it was never applied.

You can bait in strategic locations with gels like max force, avert, siege. also utize professional quality roach traps.

you can do a liquid conventional spray with something like Gentrol which leaves a 8 month residual, can also kick up a notch by adding capsulated suspension chemical like demand cs.

I have found using all three methods gets the best results.

Don't expect a miracle, it takes time for the chemicals to work.Usually takes at least 3 treatments before you could get the situation under control.

I am so sorry. That is horrible to have to live with roaches.

You may have to empty everything out and get an exterminator. They are probably in the walls. So a heavy spray with windows and doors closed for about 3 days may be suggested. To do it this way you will have to be living elsewhere. So get it done before you go on vacation or just take a few days off to stay somewhere else.

Good luck.

Ok, first of all stop using the chemicals. You've probably killed off all the ones that can be killed with them, now you are just poisoning yourself.

Get some boric acid powder. You should be able to get it at the hardware store. Do NOT put it where pets and kids can lick it up. Put into all the cracks you have seen the bugs coming out of; you can even lay it on your counters at night if no humans or animals will get into it, but that is only in desperation. (Don't get it in your food and wash your hands after applying it)

You can also use it as a mop solution AFTER you put the powder in all of the cracks. Put one cup of boric acid in one gallon of rinse water and mop the floors with it.

Next make sure you have gotten rid of all the food and water sources for them. Cockroaches will eat anything. Pet food, leather shoes, feces, etc., etc., Put everything in plastic containers, including anything leather that you own. Make sure all your dishes are done and the sinks are wiped down at night. Also pour hot water down the drain.

Good luck.

You have what we call in my native land: an INFESTATION.

Good heavens, this cannot be a new discovery for you. Get professional help. Call your local extension service. They obviously reside inside the walls and are finding plenty to eat in your kitchen. If it's a condo/apartment, you'll need to enlist the building's management. If it's a house, get pro help. Yes, it'll cost a bit of green. But it beats living with the filth created by these things.

I hate to say this but there's really nothing that will completely get rid of them. I lived in a house like yours for 3 years and hired at least 4 different exterminators but they still came back a week or so later. Set traps and take away their food supply. Good luck.

first make sure everything in the kitchen is dry. roaches love to live in wet areas. under the basin (the cabinet) make sure is always dry. then have a bottled spray and put kerosene on it and start spraying on the places where you see them. i have tried this before, but take care not to light places where you sprayed.

cool down! they gained't rape you! You stated your self that they are very small. And calling them hideous is only going to harm their thoughts. they are probable weevils. risky they do no longer seem to be. Use any insect killer you like, available at your food market. And for goodness sakes get a grip. i do no longer advise squalor however the fashionable confusion of cleanliness with finished sterility is undesirable itself.
