I wouldn't tell unless you had evidence (that's what cameraphones are for.)

Maybe Michael's playing the field, or it wasn't what it looked like. Let Ryan go out with him--he worked hard for this, obviously. Only if Ryan has suspicions do you tell him about this. Anyway, maybe Ryan has a friend or brother who would be better for Michael! You can't find love by staying at home.

Are Michael and Ryan dating, or are they just about to embark on the first date? If they're dating (meaning there is a standing Friday night engagement between the two of them and they are seeing no one else), tell Ryan.

If they're just going on their first date, stay out of it. There is no commitment between the two of them and Michael has every right to see others. Additionally, being cozy with someone doesn't mean they're on a date. He could have just been hanging out with a good friend that he's comfortable being touchy feely with. Stay out of it.

They are just going out on a date, from what you've said I haven't seen anything that implies exclusivity. If Ryan thinks they are exclusive then you should tell Ryan to find out where Michael stands on the issue. He may have just wanted a date not a commitment.

Maybe your friend Ryan has a different perspective of the relationship than Michael does... because I don't think its as unusual for people who are just dating and not in a clearly committed relationship to also be dating and seeing other people. I wouldn't tell him, but I wouldn't encourage him getting any cozier thinking that they are boyfriends.

Ask Ryan details bout their relationship... open vs. monogamous. Then ask Michael the same question... in private. Play CLOSE attention to his body language. That should let you know if you should tell Ryan or not. Good Luck Sweetie

They haven't even started a serious relationship. If it progresses that far, "ryan" thinks it's monogamous, and "michael" is still dating around, then you should tell your friend. Right now don't worry about it.

unless you know exactly was going on, say nothing. But if you see Michael, ask him and tell him you do not want to see him hurt your friend

NOOOOOOOOOO !!! DO NOT TELL HIM !!!
Never crawl in bed between two people !!! The next time your friend brings up his crush, maybe suggest that when they go out again, that he question him about monogamy and his dating habits.

Don't tell him. It sounds like he's gonna be heartbroken no matter who tells him or how he finds out. Stay out of it unless you want to be associated with the breakup.

Don't tell him. there's no sense in you being the one to hurt your friends feelings, it sounds like they will get hurt anyway. You don't want to be in the middle of that.
