Actually, im pretty sure that my pg is going to switch me to the mini-pill since i didn't get along quite well with the combined pill.. Does anyone here know the possible side effects and other facts about the mini-pill? I am undergoing to the worrying bit again of taking a new pill as i am afraid to gain weight and get severe acne. My boyfriend and i are still using condoms and will still continously use it untiol i decided to conceive..Any relevant facts will help. Thank you so much.

Eveyone reacts so differently to different drugs. I have tried to find out about birth control from the people on here but I get such different responses. You better off asking your doc. and just trying it. Here are some side effects I found on this site.
your periods will become irregular
although rare, breast tenderness, headaches, nausea and weight change might occur

feeling very sick was the main problem I had, but everyone is different and I suppose there's no telling what it might be like for you. I believe it's less of a health risk than the combined pill in other ways.

mini pill gave me irregular bleeding after 3 months. also had irregular smears. also your window for taking missed pill is only 3 hours (no good if you forgot and are at work!)

i was on the mini pill and i put on half a stone in a week!!! and felt sick all the time but remember not all people are the same,you might be alright on it.
