Before any explaination, we have to find out how your dream is triggered. Why pool? why blood?

Pool in many ways could symbolize your social world. and Blood could symbolize life or in your case, giving up. Being dead in the dream represent failure in your end. In other words, you may not want to accept failure lately. However, you have to accept the fact that it happened. Subconscioiusly you use other way to express yourself.

Perhaps, you have seen movies about pool and blood and that triggered the dream. However, those symbols in your life play importantly in your social life and that is why you ven this out.

They mean nothing but still can't be a very nice experience. Try reading a funny (definitely not scary) book before you sleep so you're sleeping mind has something else to think about.
