It's not really about trying to look taller, it's more of a fashion thing. I mean, I'm 5'7" and I still wear heels when I dress up, because they look nice. Most of the flat shoes out there look like little girl shoes!

I agree and most of them can't walk in those heels anyway. I am 5'11 and I'm used to being tall already so I can wear any shoe that comes my way but to see short people clumped over in high heel shoes trying to walk is hilarious and kinda ridiculous.

Im short (5ft3). I wear heels at times and Ill have you know I dont do it to look tall. I like being petite because I like my husband to seem that much taller than me and I feel more feminine this way. Wearing heels can make a women feel sexy and it coks the butt up, too.
I dont look down on 5ft7 women wearing 3 inch heels. This comment is as dumb as saying, "why do tall women wear heels? It looks silly, your never going to be a man so stop trying.".

3 inch 'soles' or 'heels'? there's a difference - but either way - most want to be bigger than they are to stand out in a crowd!!! plus 3inch 'heels' are sexy!! on short or tall women!

how come it's ok for tall women to wear 3 inch heels but not small women? Please, we wear heels for the same reason every lady wears heels... to look sexy. I'm sorry i was born short and if heels make me look taller and skinner then 3 inch heels it is!!
