It is probably just your hormones leaving her body - left over from when she was in the womb. Don't pop them - they will clear up by themselves.

After researching your question I found a nice web site that will probably might be of interest to you as well as other Moms. I hope it helps, if it does not please let me know. maybe I can find something else.
What could be causing my baby's acne?
As with adolescent acne, there's no clear answer. For some time, experts have pointed to the hormones babies receive from their mother at the end of pregnancy as a cause of baby acne. But researchers continue to study other factors and have yet to agree on one culprit. If you take certain medications while nursing, for example, or if your baby takes certain medications, they might trigger baby acne.

How long will it last?
Baby acne usually clears up within a few weeks, but it can linger for months. If it doesn't clear up within three months or you're concerned about it, talk with your baby's doctor.

What can I do about my baby's complexion in the meantime?
Well, there are some things you should not do. Don't put creams or oils on your baby's skin, because these can make the acne worse. Don't use over-the-counter acne medicines. And don't scrub. Baby acne isn't caused by dirt.

In fact, too much washing can further irritate your baby's skin, so don't overdo the cleansing. Simply wash your baby's face with mild baby soap and water once a day. Gently pat it dry.

Patience is usually the best course of action. Your baby's acne doesn't bother him in the least, so try not to let it bother you, either.

My son had "baby acne" sooooo........... bad right around this age too... My doctor said it's just something some babies with sensitive skin get and many things could be the cause of it. Her advice to me was to not wash his head or face with soap, and don't use lotions or oils above the neck, she also suggested that I switch to a different soap altogether I used Aveeno for babies it didn't have any fragrance, so no fresh smelling Johnson baby but it REALLY helped!!! and as soon as it started to clear up I slowly started using the soap on the upper part of his body about once a week to start... It may seem uncleanly but after all it's not like the baby is outside playing in the dirt, if it's absolutely necessary you can use the soap but just try it for a week or so... It will clear up I promise...

My son was born with this and he had it until he was 2 months old. My doctor told me baby acne is normal. You can't do too much about it. What you can do is use a warm wash cloth and GENTLY wipe his face. Doing this daily helps alot. It shouldn't be long before it clears up. Maybe you should take the baby to the doctor!! It may not be acne, it could be from where the baby is coming into to contact with to many individuals, or maybe someone is kissing her on her face!! Baby's skin is really sensitive so you should get the checked out asap!!!

This is a hormonal thing that most babies go through not long after they are born. Some of them get it really bad. You don't really need to do anything about it but make sure you bath baby. It is really something that just runs it course.

Most likely your hormones from when she was in you. In addition, check what you have been using to wash her face. If you wash too often with a harsh soap, and/or if you don't wash her face at all, she could get acne.

It might not actually be acne. Many things make babies break out. I have always used euricin cream. It works.

I HAVE A QUESTION? DID THE DOCTORS SAY IT WAS ACNE? IT MAY B ECZEMA( I THINK I SPELLED THAT RITE.) IT IS A SKIN RASH THAT HAPPENS 2 CHILDREN AT BIRTH. IT ISN'T A BIG DEAL THOUGH. MAYBE CREAMS CAN HELP IT. DOES YOUR CHILD CRY A LOT AND TRY 2 SCRATCH HER SKIN? IF SO SHE JUST MIGHT HAVE ECZEMA. ITS A COMMON SKIN RASH AND IS NOT CONTAGIOUS SO DON'T WORRY.
