Doesn't matter if you're married or not. I hate ironing too. What I do is after washing, put the shirts in the dryer for just a few minutes, basically to get most of the wetness out. Then take one shirt out at a time, letting the rest to keep tumbling while you hang the damp shirt on a plastic hanger and button it and smooth it out. Take each shirt out and do the same. Let them air dry on the plastic hangers, hanging them so they don't touch, for better airflow. If still not perfect, you can get one of those clothes steamers like the special boutiques use. I like the big size since the small handheld ones don't seem to do the trick. It may cost about $200 but it has given me many years of faithful service, besides my plastic hangers!

1) Take your shirts to the cleaners. This is usually at least $2 -$4 per shirt.

or

2) Hire someone to iron them-usually around $15 per dozen. (cheaper than cleaners, look in your newspaper or want ads under services)

or

3) Learn to do it yourself. It will cost you an iron, an ironing board and starch, but the most expensive cost to this is TIME!

You can take it to the cleaners or learn to do it yourself.
Even if you're married there is some cost involved in getting a shirt ironed. It costs my hubby a massage.

Take your shirts out of the dryer as soon as it stops and hang them up. If you are too late and they are wrinkled...throw it back in the dryer again. Key is hang it up when it's hot. I'm a married woman and I don't iron unless I have to. So, getting married doesn't necessarily mean you'll have wrinkle-free shirts.

So...just what are you implying here?
That you marry someone in order to have a maid to iron your shirts?

I pity the poor girl that finally ends up with you....lol

if you dont want to iron heres the way : when washing your shirts or pants, dont put them in a dryer, take them out from the washing, dont squeeze it to get out the water. hang them while water is still dripping , when it gets dry, fold them carefully, pressed with your hands to remove some crumpled part, and put under your bed or any heavy object which is flat... i do that because i hate ironing and it works well..

Hahahahahahaha. Why are men so inept when it comes to ironing? My boyfriend asked me a couple of weeks ago if I could teach him how to use an iron. But mad props to him for at least wanting to learn!

wash your shirts at a launderette, dry them in the dryers and fold them very care fully while they are still hot, no need to iron. This works with most clothes.
