guide on how I can do this. I have tried various download sites but they either don't work or say I have to be in the USA.

ABC.com won't let me download as I don't live in the States.

Try to find a friend that has sky account, and ask them to link you to there online account or something. You can the download season 3 programs for £2.50 of sky anytime. I think anywhere else might be illegal in the U.K

you could do what many people do and go through someone like torrentz or isohunt.com
simply type lost into the search box and it will bring up loads of different ones, you can narrow your search by selecting individual epiodes from different seasons i.e lost s01e04 this would find lost season 1 episode 4.
you do need to get whats called a download client. I reccomend azureus its dead simple to use and once you have it on your computer it comes on instantly when you select a file to download.
just type azureus into google and download the free software.
once downloaded you can watch on realplayer etc.

hun i feel ur pain! i did have cable but ive moved and cant have t in my area and plus i cant have a sky dish either as im in flats! i now cant watch it as my pc dont allow me to download (not that i would anyway as i like the real dvds and cds)
im getting withdrawals because of it all! lol
