They are edible. So animals eat them and through waste leave the seeds widespread with a little fertilizer to boot.

Some seeds like the dandelion and cottonwood are easily transported via the wind, like parachutes.

Many angiosperms have fleshy fruits and vegetables that entice animals to eat them and disperse the seeds via digestion.

Flowering plants attract insects that pollinate and fertilize other fellow angiosperms far away, where they might not normally get pollinated. Insects and animals while visiting flowers also pick up seeds externally and disperse them.

Nature made flowers beautiful so humans would admire them and propagate them in their gardens, all over the world. Sort of biological.

Angiosperms that enclose seeds in hard coats allow the seeds to survive harsh conditions until conditions are ripe for growth.

Flowers and cross pollination allow more variety and diversity which contribute to survival.
