What loaded words you use! Submit? Refuse?
If you mean when women don't want sex should men divorce them, then you have a very strange reading of the marriage vows.
People who love each other don't think of sex as being something to submit to, if they did then the guy must be doing something wrong. Women who are loved, enjoy intimacy and men who love them would never get upset by an occasional turn down. No loving couple would divorce, because of a declining sex life, they would make adjustments, but marriage is way more than sex.
I suppose if I were married to a man who though only of his 'rights' and insisted I 'submit' to him. I would like divorce better. That just sounds as if it were some sort of legal rape and I think that's disgusting.
I also think Dr. Laura needs a shrink if she feels that way.

What is with thsi submit thing? If you're refering to the bible it is used in a different way...you use submit as a tool for enslavement...it is a much different meaning.....

In your question "Do you find divorce more rewarding?" well heck yes they do...in today's world it is beneficial for a women to divorce! Look at it this way....she meets a guy....he has a job...she marrys...has kids...then she decides to leave! Bamm! the guy is slammed with the loss of 1/2 his marital assets, and at a minumum 20% for the first child in child support....if you make $55,000/year then you can expect to pay around $1,000/month for two kids (the first 20% and the second5% extra). You take the kids on every other weekend...net effect...she has a babysitter every other weekend..she will get the kids ....and she has 25% (if she has two kids) of your earnings for.....ever (it seems like). DO you think they mind getting divorced?

Submit to what? Divorce is certainly more rewarding than staying in a bad marriage. This life is too short to waste any of it, especially when the situation can be improved.

divorce is not rewarding, bad terminology! Divorce is the result of 2 people not willing to work out the problems they have created by being together. Sad to say I am divorced, and while I feel that mine was inevitable, in hindsight, maybe I could have stayed and worked things out, but I was so hurt I couldn't see anything but leaving. I think hurt tends to motivate divorce more and more. You cannot think rationally when you are hurt so deeply, and its human nature to want to get away from that person who is inflicting the pain/hurt on you, instead of trying to deal with it and work it out. There are many reasons why people divorce, none of them are good reasons, but rewarding does not even belong with the word divorce

I HATE Dr. Laura, but my mom loves her so I don't like her much either. I think that if the guy is not respecting the girl and keeping his distance, the girl does have the right to divorce.

what submission are you talking about? Most guys love to submit, we do the house, we clean, we have the kids, we cut the grass, we do the shopping, we make the love...we cook, we hand you the remote...without us...he is not 100%

Women hold a lot more than 50% but if you want to call submission, go right ahead.

Divorce is never the best solution. Some thing little happens and people over react and then starts the domino effect. Space your domino's with enough space so that when one drops it doesn't' collapse the entire show

Wives are to submit to husbands and perhaps future boyfriends who are looking to become their future husbands. Since women are not to submit to men that they are not somehow attached, then men should not support women whom they are not attached or are not their women.
